Pin Type Moisture Meters

These require inserting pins into the material to measure electrical resistance and determine precise moisture content (MC). They are generally more accurate for specific materials like wood and drywall.

Pinless Meters

These take non-contact, qualitative measurements by scanning the surface, ideal for quickly covering large areas without leaving marks. They use a ball probe or a flat sensor to detect the presence of moisture up to 19mm below the surface.These advanced tools incorporate a thermal imaging camera (Infrared Guided Measurement) to visually guide you to potential problem areas where temperature differences indicate moisture. MSX technology overlays visual details onto the thermal image for better visualization.
